Today, I test the hardness of my blank TZM
rod with the specification of Ø25mmX500mm. The test machine is called Rockwell Hardness Tester,
and you can get the HV, HRC, HRA etc by it.
Well, let me talk about the value I get
from it. In regular, the hardness of pure molybdenum is between 18~20 HRC, and
the TZM can be reached 18~25HRC. In the rod we tested today is about 23.3HRC. Also,
Chinatungsten are able to provide higher than 23.3HRC, the highest hardness
would be 25HRC.
